Welcome to the new DunsonChecksIn.com.  I started sportswrting during my freshman year at UGA as a Florida and Tebow fan, which made me the Myspace Tom of Facebook. The site has had a strong start but now it’s time to start fulfilling our potential. If ESPN’s Grantland were an NBA franchise, they’d be the aging Barkley, Olajuwon, Pippen Houston Rockets circa 1999. We’re the younger ’99 Spurs, so jump on the bandwagon early because we’ve got spacious seating for seven and a pleather interior.

We don’t regurgitate the same news and opinions that are mimicked across most of mainstream media. Our goal is to think outside the box score and deliver unique opinions in an interesting way because sports are entertainment as well.

From the NBA, to college football, Major League Baseball and We deliver witty commentary with a distinct voice and (sometimes) satirical message thanks to the  “cerebral sportex” (the unexplored and recently discovered region of the brain which processes sports knowledge and information).
